I spent this past week wracking my brain to remember all the songs I searched for on the radio. I discovered a treasure trove of memories.
Looking out the back window from the “way back” of the family station wagon. Driving around with my sister while she taught me music 101. At nine years my senior, any time spent with her made me really cool, and much less like “the baby” of the family.
In high school we logged more miles cruising town than any of our parents would care to admit. We referred to ourselves (ok, maybe we were “nicknamed by others”) as the “Lame Train.” We argued about whose turn it was to buy the ci******es, hoped a party (where we could all get in), would materialize, stopped for food, all the while turning the music UP!
Music ✨It paves memory lane with sights, sounds, smells, and feelings. It’s mixed in the foundation for who we are, where we are going, and how far we’ve come. The most beautiful part? It never gets old.
