My name is Chris and I would love to tell you a little about this business of mine and the passion which it has come from. Grab a cup of coffee and join me for a bit. Explore this page here and be sure to visit my full website as well! I am a Northern California native and have lived here all my life. I have been fishing these rivers since I was able to hold a rod. I remember family vacations were
2 weeks spent camping in the Trinity Alps, the perfect vacation for someone like me. My love of fishing only grew stronger over the years and has become such a part of me my family would swear my fly rod was an extra appendage. I had always used spin gear until one summer day in the Bishop area. I was on a fishing trip with my father who was fly fishing. I took a break from fishing and sat and watched my father fish for a bit. I couldn't believe it when I saw a fish come up and eat his fly! I have been hooked ever since. My first experience with drift boats came in the 80’s. My good friend Rob Yuen was in training to move up to Oregon and be a salmon and steelhead guide. I got to be the guinea pig. I was amazed at what those boats could do and was soon dreaming of a boat of my own. My first boat was a Dave Scadden pontoon boat that I learned to row in and hone my skills. After a couple years I finally saved enough money to buy my first drift boat. I have been rowing now for about 15 years and I still love it. Since I spend so much time on the water I figured I should know what to do in an emergency so I participated in a 3 day training course to become a certified Swift Water Rescue Technician. I am also certified in CPR as well as First Aid. After all these years I still love sharing my passion for fishing with others. Nothing beats the thrill I get seeing someone hook a fish for the first time. When you are ready to really enjoy a day of fishing give me a call.
