🚀 Exciting developments for the space sector in Małopolska!
During the "Strategy for Space Entrepreneurship" panel at the US-Poland Science and Technology Symposium 2026, Andrzej Bańka from the Małopolska Marshal’s Office presented Małopolska’s vision for becoming one of Europe’s leading regions in the space sector.
Małopolska is building a strong ecosystem that combines scientific excellence, entrepreneurial ambition, and international cooperation to create new opportunities in the rapidly growing space economy. The region sees the space sector not only as a source of technological advancement, but also as a driver of economic growth, talent development, and global competitiveness.
A key element of this vision is close cooperation between public institutions, academia, and industry. The Małopolska Space Sector Council provides a platform for dialogue and strategic coordination, helping to align regional ambitions with the needs of the sector and emerging global opportunities.
