Effects of Tai Chi on balance and fall prevention:
This study (1/5/26 issue of Frontiers in Public Health) conducted a quantitative analysis of the effects of Tai Chi on balance ability and fall risk reduction. The results indicate that Tai Chi significantly enhances balance ability and reduces fall risk in healthy older adults.
Additionally, different Tai Chi styles exhibit varying effects on enhancing balance ability and reducing fall risk in healthy older adults, with Simplified 24-form Tai Chi and Yang-style 24-form Tai Chi demonstrating superior effectiveness compared to other styles.

(TToPA has been teaching the complete unshorten 85-form Yang-style Tai Chi in Palo Alto since 1973)
