⛳️18-Hole Scorcher 🥵 at Norwoods (9/2)
The Lady Panther Golf Team was on the course again within 13 hours of stepping off #9 in Columbia yesterday…and it was a hot one today🌡️! The girls were disappointed in their first 18-Hole round and the heat, fatigue, and ttop-end competition was a little too much. Proud of the fight and gutting out a 7th place finish vs 14 teams in the Hannibal Invitational! All 5 finished their rounds as a few teams had some golfers withdraw during the match…way to tough it out, ladies!
Back at it tomorrow in Mexico for Varsity AND JV action starting at 4:00 pm at Arthur Hills GC!

⛳️MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!⛳️

Girls Golf Season will begin on Monday, August 10th. To beat the heat and the crowd, practices will be 7:00-9:00am (Aug. 10-14) at Jackson Park GC.

• Make sure you have a Sports Physical on file with the school prior to Aug. 10 •

Meet the Panthers and Parent Meeting will be on Sat., Aug 15 in the evening. More info to come.

What a great week…HOT, but great! 3 excellent days of Panther Golf Camp, and now watching PGA Tour Golf at the John Deere Classic today! Following Jordan Spieth, Ben Griffin, and Jackson Koivun (1st PGA Event as a Pro) has been fun so far! Looking forward to Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley coming up!

That’s a wrap on our 2026 Panther Golf Camp! Thank you to the following for helping us put on another successful Camp experience…
• Jackson Park Golf Course,
• Joe Thomas, John Thomas, and Kevin Hillman for the use of / mowing of the “Range”;
• Josh Wilson, Hunter Baggett, and HOMEBANK for the prizes, pizza and drinks; • Asst. Jaime Morris and Our HS Boys & Girls Golfers that came to help each day;
• Parents for getting their kids to and from the Course;
• And to all our Panther Youth Golfers for taking part!!!

There will be a Main Street Fire Truck Ride Celebration tomorrow Night (Tuesday) at 6:00 PM - for the State Champion Palmyra Golfers - starting at Jackson Park and traveling down Main…Step out and give a wave to these young men that worked so hard this season to bring back the 🏆 to Palmyra!
