𝘽𝙊𝙊𝙂𝙀𝙔𝙈𝘼𝙉 𝙎𝙄𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙀𝘼𝙐𝙓 𝙂𝙊𝙀𝙎 10-0; 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝘿𝙎 𝙀.𝘿.𝙄.𝙏.𝙃 𝙏𝙊 𝙎𝙃𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝙊𝙁 𝙉𝙃𝙎𝘾𝘼 𝙃𝙎 𝘿𝙐𝘼𝙇𝙎 𝘾𝙍𝙊𝙒𝙉!!
With the top-2 seeded cohorts---Team Shutt Rioux and E.D.I.T.H. electing not to wrestle Boys' HS Duals finale (officially a win by forfeit by Rioux); it means that NYMA upper-weight sensation, 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒂𝒖, will be bringing an immaculate/unblemished 10-0 resume back with him to the Cornwall-On-Hudson campus!!
Climbing into the #6 spot of the first set ofMatScouts' 2026-2027 preseason polls following a run of prosperity that has witnessed him earn Bronze at both USAW Junior Folk Nationals and NHSCA Nationals, as well as Jr. FS crowns at both the NYS (Blatnick) and Regional (Portuese) levels...
The Louisiana native remained fully en fuego during the past three days under the roof of the Virginia Beach Sports Center!!!
His body of work best described using the term, "Untouchable"; the 195-pounder would not allow a single offensive point to be scored upon him as he exploded for 136 total points (136-29 margin; not including NF that was not awarded) en route to stockpiling six technical falls, two pins, and a pair of victories via walkover!!
Wasting little time in setting the tone for himself; the 2026 Prep National 4th-place performer cruised to an 18-3 dub over 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐨𝐧 (2x Illinois State placer/3rd in '25; 2026 NHSCA Sophomore Bronze Medalist; 2025 U.S. Open Double U15 National Champion; 2025 Double U15 Pan-American Gold Medalist), in his opening bout before adding back-to-back forfeits to cap off Saturday's action!
His most substantial triumph yesterday coming in round 2 of Championship Pool B; the Boogeyman established a 9-2 advantage before ultimately sticking 2026 Delaware State runner-up, 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡, in a time of 1:08!
On the last day of action (today); his gas tank was fully on "F", as punctuated his perfection by posting respective 21-5, 22-5, and 22-6 TFs in the rounds of 32, 16, and the semifinals at the expense of 𝐁𝐫𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐦𝐚𝐧 (2x Alabama State Placer/3rd in '25), 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐭 (2x Missouri State placer/2025 Runner-up), and 𝐆𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐝 (2x Prep National Qualifier/2025 Blood rounder; 2x NHSCA All-American), of Pennsylvania!!
Unfortunately, the decision to not contest the title dual robbed those in attendance of witnessing what would have been one of the most highly anticipated showdowns of the extended weekend...
Simoneaux was slated to square off with Oklahoma State commit, 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 (3x State placer/2x finalist/2026 Champion; 2025 NHSCA Junior National Champion; 2025 Fargo Junior FS Bronze Medalist; 2025 Super 32 5th; 2024 USAW 16U Folk National titlist), who wrapped up his scholastic career as the #2 ranked wrestler in his weight class, not to mention as the #9 overall Senior Big Boarder per MatScouts!
