The boys and I traveled to the 2nd stop of the Eastern States Downhill Cup at Mtn Creek this weekend. Fun gnarly track. Just some rocks and speed. Tanner and Owen placed 1st and 2nd in 16U class, Alex won 30+ and I placed 3rd in 50+.

Great time ripping laps with the boys all weekend.

Chris’s Santa Cruz Vala he picked up last night. Motocross racer and mountain biker all of his life, it was time to e-mtb. His older brother got a Pivot emtb earlier in the week, it was definitely time.

Vala is an alloy frame with the Bosch emtb system. 600wh battery. Sram 70 derailleurs. Sram DB8 brakes. Reserve wheels.

Fit and finish on these frames are top notch. Cable routing straight forward. “Easy” builds.

Dave’s choice of white saddle and bartape is classy.

A few weeks ago my friend Morrison from Woodward Camp asked if I knew any kids who can shred on mountain bikes. He needed a few kids for a photo shoot to promote their new mtb program they’re launching this summer. I said I know a few…lol. So yesterday, Owen, Tanner, Jace and Patrick Mulhern got to ride the all new trails and jumps at Woodward Camp. It was an amazing experience for them riding with a couple of Pros and even an Olympic Gold Medalist.
