PSA~ Things are starting to get interesting in the deer woods. If you are lucky enough to stick one, you need to be able to recognize a bad shot.
Researching NOW what a liver hit is or a gut hit AND wait times before you track will do you WONDERS! Please do yourself a favor and re-learn blood trail basics. Do this now and heed the signs of caution when you need to; most times you won’t need a dog as your deer should be laying there 100 yards away in the morning. This just in!!!
Colson recovered his first solo track with Bug!
Plot twist: The neighbors deer from the day before also ran the same trail before it branched off. He was able to get Bug back on track to the right deer after recovering the neighbors (wrong) deer.
Id say they did great! Nice job Colson and Bug!!! Huge congratulations!!!
