After years of amazing leadership of BVG and Rebecca have handed over USASA Mid Atlantic Series to Paula Hughes who was Director for 2024 season. The year she was Director she earned the respect of fellow Series Directors and everyone she interacted with. Paula was chosen by BVG and Rebecca due to her excellence in leading the Blue Mt Boardercross team for years. Unfortunately for us she was offered another opportunity that she could not refuse and decided to hand the series off to me. In my brevity I had a slight oversight to recognize her contributions to the series. Paula as I have said in the past you are missed already and thank you for giving me this opportunity. Wishing you and your family the best!

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Coaches from regional teams who would like to host an event I encourage you to reach out, I have several open dates.

I am stepping into some big shoes, so I appreciate grace as I navigate this new role. A new Instagram account will be forthcoming. I look forward to seeing the athletes compete and wish everyone of them the best of luck !

We will be holding 2 Slopestyle and 1 Rail Jam on Sunday, March 5th at Camelback Mt. Resort.

Registration: Closes at Midnight on Wednesday, March 1st. We are holding 3 events, so be sure to register for the events you want to compete in. We will hold the 2 Slopestyle events back to back, then take a quick break before training starts for the Rail Jam. Lift Tickets: Available for both athletes and family for $55. Location to purchase lift tickets will be posted on Thursday, March 2nd.

ATTENTION SL & GS RACERS!!
Important announcements!

PLEASE READ

Hello Racers,
We have added and moved some races around in our schedule. Please see below for these changes.

Camelback SL 1 and GS 1 have been RESCHEDULED to 3/4/23
• SL 1 and GS 1 at CBK will now be held on Saturday, March 3rd
• All riders who registered for these races prior to the events being postponed, you will automatically be transferred to this new date. If you have an issue with the new date, please email [email protected]

Camelback SL 2 and GS 2 – Moving to Roundtop (2/11 and 2/12)
• Camelback SL 2 has been RENAMED to Roundtop Slalom 2 (CBK 1/22/23 rescheduled) – Will be held on Saturday, February 11th
• Camelback GS 2 has been RENAMED to Roundtop Giant Slalom 2 (CBK 1/22/23 rescheduled) – Will be held on Sunday, February 12th
• Again, if you registered for these Camelback races prior to the events being postponed, you will be automatically transferred to the new Roundtop date. If you have questions regarding this transfer, please email [email protected]

Feb. 11th and 12th weekend at Roundtop will have 6 total events!
• 3 Slalom races on Saturday, February 11th
• 3 Giant Slalom races on Sunday, February 12th

All events are currently open for registration! Please log into usasa.org and click on Competitions_RegionalCompetitions_RegionalSeriesCalendars. From here you will select Mid-Atlantic, All Months and All Disciplines and you will see all races to register for. Each event is $30.

Registration closes at Midnight the Wednesday before the weekend of events
• Roundtop Registration closes at midnight on Wednesday, February 8th
• Camelback Registration closes at midnight on Wednesday, March 1st
