General Offensive Rules
- To facilitate easier calls due to limited turf lining, a catch requires one foot in bounds.
- A minimum of five players must be on the line of scrimmage at all times, with tight ends required to raise their hand.
- No motion towards the line of scrimmage is permitted as the ball is snapped.
- Ball carriers are prohibited from hurdling or jumping to avoid flag pulls, unless avoiding a downed player.
- Diving for extra yards or touchdowns is strictly prohibited.
- Flag pulls will be determined by the ball's position and the referee's judgment.
- Three or four-point stances are not allowed.
- A 25-second play clock will be enforced, with a loss of down and a five-yard penalty for violations.
This year , only one first down will be awarded. Teams will have five downs to achieve the first down and four downs to score thereafter.
General Defensive Rules
- Safeties must not be more than 15 yards off the ball pre-snap.
- Defensive linemen must be one yard off the ball.
- Push-outs and three or four-point stances are prohibited.
New Rules
- Teams are required to use their own ball.
- Blocking downfield is allowed, but without extension or shoulder contact.
To clarify, the blocking rule is not new, but it has been consistently misunderstood. Please adhere to the rules to avoid unnecessary disruptions. Last year was great!
Additional Rules
- The ball will start on the three-yard line.
- A ball carrier is considered down by contact if they fall.
- Ejection from the game for any reason will result in exclusion for the remainder of the day, as this is a fundraiser intended to be enjoyable.
Punting
- Punting must be declared, with no fake punts allowed.
- Six players must be on the line of scrimmage until the ball is kicked.
- Rushing the punter is prohibited.
- The punt must be fielded cleanly; otherwise, it will be considered dead where it lands.
Please park in the designated parking lot. A small road leads up to the field, but driving or parking in this area is strictly prohibited. Please utilize the parking lot only.
Tents may not be set up on the field. If you plan to set up a tent, please use the outer layer of the track, avoiding the area in front of the bleachers.
Please note that the following are strictly prohibited: drugs, smoking, alcohol, and fighting.
Please note that each field will have only one referee until teams are eliminated. As a result, not all incidents may be observed.
A comprehensive review of these rules will be conducted on Saturday morning. Thank you to all who have participated in this event and to those who have contributed teams.
