A dream you dream alone is only a dream.
A dream you dream together becomes reality.
When 907 Barrel Racers announced they would be disbanding. I think these particular 5 people were the ones who shrunk the smallest not to be looked upon to carry on the tradition. 🤣
As it became apparent that no one was going to take on a club of the same caliber and schedule, and with much prodding from a few (meaning all 5) of the 907BR board members, we started chatting about “just how hard could it be?”…
HARD!
So many minor details and so many large details… and we all have full time jobs, businesses, horses and families… Full lives.
WOULD YOU LOOK AT US NOW!
We did it!!!! We deligated, we talked numerous hours, we called upon our predecessors, and our members, and together we did it!
We managed with just a few hick ups, growing pains, learning curves and a lot of faith!
We did it.
We couldn’t have though with out the support of our members, generous sponsors, family members and an entire community backing us up the whole way!
Here’s to 2026!
We will be taking a few weeks off and then ordering our awards for our year end champions, planning our awards banquet and getting started working out the schedule with the rodeo producers and our host facilities.
We’ve had positive feedback!
It’s been said many times that the additions of leadline, peewee, our amazing sound system and play lists, dedicated announcer, food service and inclusivity has proven to add to our energetic and fun atmosphere.
Please if any of you has suggestions or ideas for further improvements, please reach out and share, this club belongs to all of you, all of us!
Our dream starting out was to build a club the next generation can eventually take over and keep this way of life and sport alive for future generations… we are just paving that path.
For now we will end this note with a great big
THANK YOU from,
Roy, Tammie, Dave, Sonya and Tammy
