About Master Carlos "Caique" Elias
• Lineage: Master Caique is one of only eight non-Gracie men to receive his black belt directly from Grand Master Hélio Gracie.
• Elite Pedigree: He trained directly under Hélio, Relson, and Rickson Gracie at the original Gracie Humaitá academy in Rio de Janeiro before moving to the US to help head the Gracie Academy in Torrance, California.
• The Coral Belt: He was awarded his 8th-degree coral belt status by Rickson Gracie.
