Thinking of the Beneke family as we remember Margaret Beneke. ❤️

The Beneke family has been such a special part of the Palmer Conservation Club over the years, with family members who have been supporters of the club.

Margaret Beneke, age 97, of Palmer, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Margaret Ann Lampe was born on May 13, 1929, to William Lampe and Marie Reiter Lampe near Palmer, Iowa. She attended St. Marys Catholic School in Pomeroy and Palmer Consolidated Schools, graduating in 1946. After graduating....

Wednesday August 26th 6:00pm for a trap tournament!
We will continue every Wednesday night (weather permitting) through fall!

▪️$17 entry fee
▪️50 birds 🟠
▪️Top 3 win 💵 each night!
▪️Lucky number 🍀 wins each night!
▪️Jackpot 💰 won with 50 straight or this will build weekly!
▪️Shooters will shoot 2 rounds of 25 per entry paid
▪️No 2 rounds per entry can be shot at the same house
▪️All ties will split.
▪️All pots may be approximate or rounded down for convenience of the clerks.
▪️All entrees will be paid before shooting your rounds. If you shoot a practice round it must be declared before you start shooting.
▪️Shooters may enter until the last entered shooter is done shooting.
▪️This is all individual, squad yourself and go shoot. Please help score when you are not shooting.
▪️No shooting under the influence of drugs or alcohol!
▪️Shells available $9.50/box
▪️Open shooting available! $6/25 birds! (Singles, Doubles, Handicap, Wobble)
▪️Use our patterning board or shoot over the Garmin to improve your skills!
▪️Everyone is welcome! We would love to help you learn the sport or improve yourself!
