Tango’s 1st Ridden trail ride. He went out with Cupid (who led from behind😉). He took the lead and looked at everything. But didn’t spook once. He’s amazing!!!

Tango’s 1st running water crossing on his 1st “ridden” trail ride. Such a great 2 yr old.

Thank you Organizers of the Stallions of the North for allowing me to bring The Knight Commander’s Foals for presentation since he wasn’t able to come due to his injury. I know you made a special exception for me this year.

It was so much fun.

What makes a horse a Missouri Fox Trotter?

A true Missouri Fox Trotting Horse is more than a horse with a comfortable gait or a familiar look. To officially be recognized as a Missouri Fox Trotter, the horse must be registered with the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association — the official breed registry dedicated to preserving the history, integrity, and future of the breed.

Registration helps ensure:
• Accurate pedigree and ownership records
• Preservation of breed standards
• Eligibility for MFTHBA programs, shows, trail rides, and awards
• Recognition of the horse as part of the breed’s history and legacy

For generations, breeders and owners have worked to protect the qualities that make the Missouri Fox Trotter so special — athletic ability, versatility, disposition, and the signature comfortable ride so many people love.

When you register your horse and support the MFTHBA, you are helping preserve and promote the breed for the next generation of riders to enjoy.

Because being a Missouri Fox Trotter is more than a gait or style of riding. It is a registered breed with a proud history and a bright future.

Presenting Whiskey Tango Foxtrot aka Tango
2024 Missouri Foxtrotter gelding. Copper red sorrel. This guy has personality. Tons of positive energy, always in your business, and a little mischievous He has to have his nose into everyting and always has to have his feet moving. Something spooky? No problem, he wants to go check it out.

He has 5 rides under saddle. Loads and trailers well. Good ground manners. Learning Clipper acceptance.

Showing a nice natural foxtrot in the round pen and on lounge line.

I believe he has potential for endurance riding. But he also seems to be interested in those cows at the fair last fall. So could go in a lot of directions.

Sire: The Knight Commander
Dam: Legends Knight of Grace
