West Valley’s Jayden Miranda was named the 2026 Gatorade Alaska Boys Basketball Player of the Year last month — the third time a Wolfpack player has won it in five seasons. (Stewart Erhart got it back to back in 22’ and 23’) He averaged 14.7 points and shot 51.8% from the floor on the No. 1 seed in 4A. Full feature on the Prospect Athletics website. Link in bio.

The last game of the 2025-26 season came down to five points.
Blue held off Gold 77–72 in the 3A/4A Boys Senior All-Star Game at Dimond High School. Kurt Kuppert and Joren Gasga of Juneau each finished with 11. Lathrop’s Armani Smith and Dimond’s Amelio Ambrosio added 10 apiece. West Valley’s Halen Nield led Gold with 14 and Palmer’s Lukas Owen had 11.

Blue swept all four games at the 2026 AABC Senior All-Star Weekend.

Keelie Kronberger of MCCA closed out her senior season the only way she knows how.
Kronberger dropped 21 as the 3A/4A Girls Blue team topped Gold 61–46 in the Alaska Senior All-Star Game at Dimond High School. Colony’s Morgan Ainsworth added 11 with Monroe’s Trinity Turiel and Galena’s Marylene Burgett each finishing with 8. Wasilla’s Katie Jackson led Gold with 14.

Senior season is over for the 1A/2A boys.
Terrence Nutting-Titus of Northway — the guy who dropped 82 in a single game and became just the second Alaskan to reach 3,000 career points — closed out his high school career with 27 points as Blue topped Gold 109–79 in the 1A/2A Boys Senior All-Star Game. Kade McCorison of Ninilchik added 16 and Alek McGarry of Cook Inlet Academy finished with 14.
Austin Barnard of Susitna Valley led Gold with 27.

Mikinley Williams of Seward closed out her career with 13 points as the 1A/2A Girls Blue team topped Gold 65–52 in the Alaska Senior All-Star Game. Jane Ward of Fort Yukon and Naveah Evans John of Tok each had 10. Pagan Lester of Newhalen added 9. Kylee Carroll of Fort Yukon led Gold with 18.
