Good morning Renegade Families. It is with a heavy heart that we are writing this message. Due to many reasons (the mass exodus of swim families from our team to other teams, the loss of over 50% of our coaching staff, the continued rise in rental fees, the lack of consistent pool time and pool locations, the need to raise monthly fees on our families to a rate that I would not ask of you) we have decided to suspend our operations as a swim club at this time. We would like to thank our families for your continued support and belief in us over the years. It has been a true pleasure to work with our families and watch our swimmers grow. There is exciting news on the horizon for aquatics in the Antelope Valley, and we are hopeful that there still might be a future for the Renegade Swim Club. We really wish the best for our families as you move on, we have been truly blessed to have you be a part of our journey. Thank you for all the great memories!!

Good afternoon Renegade Family!!! ❤️🖤
So I know many of us like to be able to plan ahead, so here is what our practice will be looking like moving forward.
We will start up again on January 8th. That week we will be on our old schedule, so MWF we will at Kerr from 6:45-8:45pm and TTH from 5-7pm.
Starting Tuesday January 16th we will be exclusively at Kerr.
MWF we will be 6-8pm and TTH we will be 5:30-7pm.

I will be turning on the autopay again here shortly. So if you are not swimming for Renegade In January (mainly high school swimmers) please let me know so I can suspend your account and autopay won’t charge you. Varsity high schoolers (at Quartz Hill) you won’t start High school until January 29th, so you can basically swim the entire month of January with Renegade. 🏊🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♀️

Finally, we will be attending a swim meet on January 27-28 in Carpentaria. Entries will be due January 12th (I believe). The event is posted on our site.

This weekend Renegade Swim Team competed in the PVST Pinka-Tathlon in Camarillo. We had an awesome first meet of the Fall 2023 season with multiple heat winners, lots of time drops and personal bests…Congrats to all our swimmers!!!🖤❤️

I would like to introduce the team to Coach Jeanette. Coach Hayley and I have known and coached with Coach Jeanette for over 15 years. Coach Jeanette is a wonderful coach and a really awesome person. She is the type of person we want to represent Renegade Swim Club. Coach Jeanette will be coaching about 3 days a week. As our club grows, we want to make sure that we have the appropriate staff to meet the needs of our swimmers. Coach Jeanette is part of that answer. Please take some time to say hello to Coach Jeanette, get to know her and welcome her to our team. Our club is better by having her onboard. Welcome to the Renegade Family Coach! We are thankful to have you!!

We are good to go to begin tonight!! We start at 6:45pm at Marie Kerr. We will begin with a brief meeting l, then assessment for our new swimmers. Returning parents, the meeting will be pretty quick for you guys. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!!

Hello parents. Thank you so much for your patience over the summer. Coach Hayley and I just came out of our meeting with the City of Palmdale and we have our time slots.
We will begin on Monday August 21st.
MWF we will be at Marie Kerr pool from 6:45-8:45pm
TTH we will be at Oasis Pool (Drytown) from 5-7pm.
So the same schedule that we had last year.
On Monday we will have a brief welcome back meeting to go over some of the questions and other issues that need to be addressed at the beginning of each season. After the meeting we will do swim assessments for our new swimmers to determine what group they would be placed in.
We look forward to seeing everyone again! We are looking forward to a great swim season. See you all August 21st!!!

Confirmation from the city and contract signed:

We will start back up again beginning Monday January 9th!

January 9-13th
MWF at Kerr from 6:45-8:45pm
TTH at Drytown 4:30-6:30pm

Starting Tuesday January 17th
MWF at Kerr 5:30-7:30pm
TTH at Kerr 5;30-7pm
Possibly doing dryland TTH from 7-7:30pm
