"I joined Burn Boot Camp Palm Harbor in January 2021, a year after having my first daughter. I was immediately hooked. I loved the workouts, the energy, the trainers, and the child watch.
Shortly after joining Burn, I became pregnant with our second daughter. At first, I was nervous about continuing to work out and lift weights while pregnant, but the trainers helped me find modifications that allowed me to stay safe while continuing to challenge myself. I worked out throughout my entire pregnancy and attended camp consistently until just a few days before giving birth.
After my second daughter was born and I was cleared to work out again, I was eager to return to Burn. However, life with two kids under two, especially a newborn who didnβt sleep, proved more challenging than I expected. Physically and mentally, I struggled to make it to the gym consistently. I ended up cancelling my membership, convinced that I could find other ways to stay in shape on my own.
Over the next two years, I lost muscle and gained weight that I wanted to lose. I decided it was time to come back. I made a commitment to attend the 6:00 a.m. camp every day so that nothing else could interfere with my workouts. That decision changed everything.
The hour I spend at Burn each morning has become a sacred part of my day. Itβs time to invest in myself before taking care of everyone else. Burn is now part of my daily routine.
Since returning, the trainers have helped me gain muscle, lose body fat, and, perhaps most importantly, learned how to properly fuel my body. Today, I am stronger, healthier, and more confident than I have ever been.
One of the greatest gifts Burn has given me is the community. Through Burn, I found a group of friends who I now do life with both inside and outside the gym. They inspire me to be better, challenge me to grow, celebrate my successes, and support me through lifeβs challenges. We work hard, laugh often, and genuinely care about one another.
Burn Boot Camp has transformed far more than my body. It has helped me build confidence, strength, healthy habits, and meaningful friendships. For that, I am incredibly grateful." ~Shelly
