Last week’s boxing classes brought a strong mix of conditioning, technique, and controlled sparring. The athletes pushed through quick‑hand heavy bag rounds to build cardio, followed by coach‑led punch‑call rounds that kept everyone reacting and staying sharp. They also got in light sparring to apply their skills with control and focus.

On Thursday, we shifted the setup and created five small rings so athletes could work light sparring in tighter spaces. This helped them stay disciplined with footwork, distance, and movement while keeping the pace steady.

Both classes finished with physical training, but Thursday’s conditioning had an extra challenge — athletes ran laps while coaches randomly called out exercises. They had to stop, complete the movement, and get right back to running. The effort and attitude stayed strong all the way through.

Another great week of growth and hard work from our boxing crew 🥊🔥

Last week’s volleyball practices were full of great progress and high energy! Our beginners focused on passing fundamentals and were introduced to hitting lines for the first time. They wrapped up the day with a fun round of King of the Court that had everyone moving and communicating.

For our intermediate and advanced athletes, we dialed in on hitting lines, and the improvement showed right away.

Wednesday’s game day was amazing — the athletes were energized from start to finish and brought great teamwork and hustle to every rally.

Another awesome week of volleyball in the books! 🏐🔥

Last week’s PAL Boxing practices brought great intensity and focus from all of our athletes.

On Tuesday, the class moved through three key stations: footwork drills for a few rounds, followed by heavy bag work, and then ring work to finish. While our athletes who have been here longer were grinding through bag and ring rounds, our younger boxers spent time working on their mitt work, staying sharp and building good habits.

On Thursday, the athletes kicked things off with an obstacle course featuring ladders, heavy bag stations, and mini hurdles. They also worked in some medicine‑ball training to build strength and explosiveness. After that, our more experienced athletes completed 30‑second rounds in the ring, while our younger and newer athletes worked quick‑hand intervals — 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off — for several rounds. The whole class wrapped up together with strong physical training to finish the week.

Another solid week of progress and effort from all of our boxers.

Our new PAL Volleyball season kicked off last week, and it’s already shaping up to be another great one. We welcomed a bunch of returning athletes along with plenty of new faces, and everyone came ready to work.

On Monday, our Beginners group got a small introduction to serving, setting, and passing, building a strong foundation for the season. For our Intermediate and Advanced athletes, we focused on hitting lines and wrapped up with a fun target‑practice hitting game that brought out great energy.

Wednesday was game day, and the athletes showed up ready to play. The teamwork, communication, and excitement on the court made it an awesome night.

Our two‑day volleyball tournament was absolutely amazing. Friday night kicked things off with our intermediate players, and Saturday brought out our beginners and advanced athletes. From the very first serve to the final point, every team gave it everything they had — we even had multiple matches go all the way to the tie‑breaker round.

You could feel the teamwork, communication, energy, and excitement from start to finish. The hard work our athletes put in all season truly showed on game day, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them.

We still have five spots left in our Beginners Class from 8pm–9pm. Come join us for another great season and be part of the fun!
