Our handles are much stronger than typical JDM offerings and are made with the serious fisherman in mind. We have two versions: a 94mm straight handle (the original "Hawg Handle") and a 102mm swept handle. Both handles are super strong...designed for "zero flex". Our handles can be bought fully assembled with cork or Shimano "PowerGrip" k***s attached, or with no k***s (you add your own Shimano k*

**s). We also sell ABEC7 hybrid bearings (stainless steel races, ceramic balls). These bearings were specifically designed for fishing use and have outstanding spin characteristics. Finally, we have available Shimano E series star drags/cast control caps in anodized colors available for sale. These are new, factory parts which are stripped/anodized to colors matching those on our handles.

Hawg Tech partner Russ Lane had an epic day yesterday in the MLF Bass Pro event, Stage Four on Chickamauga Lake. He caught +70lbs, taking a +21lb lead going into day two tomorrow in group A.
People who fish heavily pressured waters like those on the TVA know how the effects of boats and fishing pressure can turn off the fish and drive them into a non feeding mode. As Russ, KVD and Edwin Evers have shown this week...the key to catching these fish is to back off them and make extra long casts.

Hawg Tech handle mounting scheme for newer Daiwa reels.
Newer Daiwa reels have a modified mounting scheme for their handles.
Old method: a nut holding the handle down to the crankshaft.
New method: crankshaft has a hole in the center and a threaded stud goes into the hole.
In this video, MLF Pro Russ Lane shows how to mount an aftermarket Hawg Tech handle to the newer Daiwa reels.
Installation is super easy. And Hawg Tech makes purchasing a handle worry free. We have sold thousands of aftermarket handles in the past +8 years and our personnel are experts in fitment of our handles to your reel. There isn't a fitment issue we haven't run across. And if you ever have a question about fitment or installation, our staff is available at all times. Our customer service is second to none.
