10 months postpartum, and Iām learning that feeling strong and feeling like myself again are not always the same thing.
This month, I officially weaned, and honestly, my hormones still feel like a disaster. My thyroid is all out of whack, Iām waking up drenched in sweat at night, and Iām still waiting for my body to find its new normal.
The stalled weight loss has been frustrating, but Iām trying to focus on what my body is doing instead of only how it looks.
I finished Phase G of Level Up and feel genuinely strong šŖ Iām also still doing Lagree once a week for something different, an hour outside of my own gym, and another reminder of how much stronger Iāve become.
All three kids started school, including Demi, which has been so bittersweet. But itās also given me more space to pour into Mess In Progress and officially launch Strength Lab, helping more women get into the gym, lift heavier, and feel confident strength training.
Postpartum progress is not always linear, and it definitely isnāt only measured by the scale.
Ten months postpartum and still very much a mess in progress š¤
If youāre postpartum too, what has surprised you most about this season?
