Hey, if it is used by NASA it must be good. Each Lure’M In lure consists of a high density, plastic core that is hand wrapped with holographic color changing lure tape. There are numerous body and eye colors to choose from and if you want to get real fancy we can even personalize each lure with a team name, boat name, or your name. Lure’M In has recently added the ‘blood stripe’ to our lures simulating injured prey. Along with this customizable head you have the choice of 25 different squid skirts to create your perfect color orientation. Each lure is rigged with two skirts. During a fishing trip to the other side of the wall (gulfstream) I had recently dropped over $170 dollars on two, yes two, Black Bart trolling lures. MY thoughts are if I’m going to spend hundreds of dollars in gas, bait, ice, and probably 5-6 hours of time the night before preparing for the next morning hunt. Why cheap out on Walmart quality lures that last 2-3 fish strikes, if any... The day began well, catching fish on those and other lures I had at the time. They performed like a $100 dollar lure should. Around 2-3Pm we headed back and decided to drop the lines on the 90 foot reef of the coast of Sebastian Inlet. We soon hooked up two barracuda (Both on the Bart’s). One fish immediately snapped the 150lb mono they were being trolled with, while the other dove deep and caught the line on the prop cutting it. It took me about 30 seconds to realize I just lost almost $200 dollars invested in only two fishing lures… This was unacceptable, especially since if you fish for the big game like I do lures are lost, it’s an inescapable fate. At this point I was 25 year old unemployed mechanical engineer just had graduated from Florida State in 2008, and knew My income wouldn’t let me continue to lose hundreds of dollars in gear when I was barely able to go fishing in the first place. Fishing is a passion and a love I have had since I could remember, gaining tips and knowledge from captains and friends who have been doing it for longer than I was alive. This love for the sport combined with the knowledge I knew about engineering, 3d product designing and materials allowed me to have an edge over the competition. And I knew what I had to do. Build a flawless, very high quality product that I can personally use and offer my customers at a fraction of the price of what is available in stores. I spent a year in the garage working nonstop to develop my manufacturing process to produce a bubble free, crystal clear lure head. Believe me I know why some of these companies charge in upwards of 100-150$ dollars for the same product I offer, It was a hell of a lot of work.
