Howdy folks, Earl here.

I've been thinking about getting another sticker... or 50. I know, I know, "where are you gonna fit 'em, your ceiling is already covered!" We'll let Autum & Kevin figure that out.

Since Dutch Bros is handing out stickers on June 10, I figured I'd see if my out-of-state friends could help an old bus add a few more souvenirs to the collection. If you're willing to grab an extra sticker and send it my way, I'd be proud to wear your state's artwork.

I've already got more stickers than a sixth grade kiddo but I can't help it, I hear 50-state coverage is all the rage these days.

Think we can pull it off?

And if you know someone in another state that may be willing to play along, please tag them in the comments!

We're excited to see what the future holds for Marysville Raceway under new promoter Thomas Arbogast!

Running a racetrack is no small task, and we know it takes a community of racers, fans, sponsors, staff, and volunteers all pulling in the same direction to make it successful. We're looking forward to seeing Thomas's vision for the track and are eager to support the effort however we can.

Vintage Rooster Racing has always believed that strong local racetracks are the heart of grassroots racing, and we're ready to roll up our sleeves and help wherever needed.

Congratulations, Thomas! We can't wait to see what the next chapter brings for Marysville Raceway.

Something special is being built at Marysville Raceway Park.

Throughout the 2026 season, Motorsports Racing Promotions Inc. (MRP) will be working behind the scenes alongside racers, fans, sponsors, and our racing community as we prepare for the next chapter of MRP beginning November 1, 2026, leading into the 2027 racing season.

This is more than a change in promotion.

This is about honoring the legacy of Marysville Raceway Park while building a stronger future for grassroots racing.

Our goal is simple:
🏁 Support the racers
🏁 Improve the fan experience
🏁 Strengthen safety
🏁 Build community
🏁 Create a family-friendly atmosphere
🏁 Bring new energy to Saturday night racing

Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing updates, behind-the-scenes progress, racer spotlights, community involvement, future plans, and much more.

We want the fans, teams, sponsors, and families to be part of this journey every step of the way.

The future starts now.

MRP — The Next Generation of Motorsports.

To all of our Hobby Stock friends going to Silver Dollar Speedway tonight, Good Luck, and HAMMER DOWN!

05/23/2026

GOOD LORD, race fans… ol’ Earl just witnessed what might’ve been the BEST Hobby Stock race of the season at Silver Dollar Speedway’s Fair Race Night #1.

Toby Merrifield and Kyle Cheney fought tooth-and-nail for over half that race — slide jobs, crossovers, bumpers dang near kissin’ every corner.

Meanwhile Zach Lindgren and Brian Cooper were right there behind ‘em like hungry coyotes waitin’ for somebody to slip up.

Then lap traffic showed up and all chaos broke loose. Toby got bottled up and nearly sent to another zip code, Kyle slipped into the lead, Zach grabbed second, Brian rolled into third, and Toby hung on for fourth after one heck of a battle.

That wasn’t racin’… that was ART.

If you missed that one, buddy, I don’t know what to tell ya.

Congratulations Guys, that was one HELL OF A RACE!

Good mornin’, race fans! Old Earl’s been up since the birds started gossipin’.

It’s race day at Marysville Raceway and the Vintage Rooster Racing crew is loaded up and headed for the dirt. Boy, we thought this day would never get here.

Kevin's been turnin’ wrenches like a man possessed — swapped out Linda’s fuel pump, welded up a broken wheel stud, then gave Monica a little sensual massage and whispered sweet nothings into her carb. Told her she’s still the prettiest thing in the pits. Monica pretended not to care, but Dusty told me he saw her blush in the shop lights.

Autum’s been busy too. She “exercized” Linda’s dents last week. Don’t ask me what that means exactly. Somethin’ about a sack full of balls, a Dutch Bros coffee, and a sprinkle of voodoo. Another one of those womanly mysteries old Earl quit tryin’ to understand years ago. All I know is the dents got smaller and Linda started actin’ spicy again.

Cars are washed and loaded. Tools are tucked away in my belly. Fuel tanks are topped off. And after bein’ away awhile, VRR can’t wait to see everybody back at the track tonight.

Don’t forget — tonight is Armed Forces & First Responders Appreciation Night. Those brave folks get into the stands FREE with proper ID. So pack the grandstands and help us say thank you to the people who show up when the world gets hard.

Gates open at 5. Racin’ starts at 6.

See y’all at the fence. 🏁

🇺🇸THIS Saturday night, May 16th, the fine folks at Marysville Raceway are throwin’ an Armed Forces & First Responders Appreciation Night — and Earl says it’s time to PACK. THEM. STANDS. 🇺🇸🔥

If you’ve ever worn the uniform, answered the call, ran toward danger while everyone else ran away, or spent sleepless nights keepin’ communities safe… this night’s for YOU.

🎟 FREE grandstand admission for Armed Forces & First Responders with proper ID.

Now Earl ain’t sayin’ you gotta cheer loud… but if the aluminum bleachers ain’t rattlin’ by hot laps, you’re probably sittin’ wrong.

🏁 Gates open at 5PM
🏁 Racing starts at 6PM
🏁 VRR will be there ready to sling dirt and make memories.

Bring the family. Bring your buddies. Bring that one friend who says “I oughta go to the races someday.” Someday is Saturday.

Let’s show these heroes what a packed Marysville crowd looks like. ❤️🤍💙

Earl here… and buddy, if ya missed the Hobby Stocks at Silver Dollar Speedway tonight, you missed one HECK of a race.

There ain’t much better than watchin’ your friends sling dirt under the lights and race their hearts out.

Brian Cooper was on an absolute charge, huntin’ his way through the field like a man possessed, and that finish? Whew. You coulda thrown a shop rag over the top cars at the line.

Big congratulations to Jake Bright on his VERY FIRST WIN! That’s one you never forget, buddy. Hope somebody saved that trophy from gettin’ hugged too hard.

Brian Cooper brought it home in second after one heck of a drive. Jared Mattice Flower held strong up front all night to finish third. Toby Merrifield kept his nose clean and held his own for fourth. And Zach Lindgren — man, what a cool story — first race in a hand-built car he built from the ground up, and he brought home fifth! That’s the kinda stuff race dreams are made of.

Proud of every one of ya. Nights like this are why Earl keeps burnin’ up and down the highway. Good people, loud engines, and memories that stick like race fuel in your clothes.

What. A. Race. 🏁

WATSONVILLE SPEEDWAY’S BEEN SITTIN’ ON THE VRR BUCKET LIST FOR A WHILE NOW… and ol’ Earl’s gettin’ itchy to point his nose that direction.

I been watchin’ what Rob Gallaher is doin’ down there and lemme tell ya… that fella’s really crankin’ the promotions game into high gear. The energy around Watsonville Speedway feels like old school racin’ mixed with a fresh coat of madness, and that’s exactly the kinda place we like to haul into.

Earl’s been thinkin’… maybe it’s time to memorialize the VRR Bucket List right there on the ceiling above the driver seats. Big ol’ “CHECK IT OFF” list. Tracks we’ve conquered. Tracks we still gotta tackle before the wheels fall off and the coffee quits workin’.

Watsonville’s definitely gettin’ written up there in Sharpie.

Now Earl wants to hear from YOU rowdy race folks…

What tracks are MUST-DO stops for a little Husband/Wife Hobby Stock circus like ours?

Where do we absolutely gotta race before they plant us in the junkyard?
