The Palatine Celtic Soccer Club, which is affiliated with the Palatine Park District, provides youth travel and house soccer programs for girls and boys ages 6-18. The Celtic Soccer Club was founded in 1968 by Bill Hughes and Jimmy Kinsella, a transplanted Scotsman, who named the Club after his home club, Glasgow Celtic. The Palatine Celtic Soccer Club is organized into two programs: The Travel Pr

ogram is for competitive, more committed skilled players, and the House Program is designed for recreational players. We have about 85 teams total in the U8 - U14 boys' and girls' divisions in our House Program. Nationally licensed coaches guide the competitive Travel Program, which includes roughly 40 teams from U8 through U18 divisions. Both the House and Travel Programs are governed by the Palatine Celtic Soccer Club Board of Directors. Additionally, for over 30 years, our Club has hosted the annual Palatine Celtic Cup Tournament featuring over 350 teams from across the Midwestern U.S.

2011 Girls Black had a good run at the National Cup Midwest Regional this weekend! 2 wins and 1 loss was a great performance but not enough to win their group. Many lessons were learned and so much motivation to continue to strive forward as players and as a team. Well done girls! We’re all proud of you!!
