Congrats Coach Aliff!

A huge congratulations to our Wrestling Club Treasurer, youth wrestling coach, youth football coach, and youth baseball coach Nick Aliff on his upcoming induction into the Ashtabula Touchdown Club Hall of Fame!

Nick had a phenomenal playing career—dominating every field, mat, and gym he stepped in. But what’s even more impressive is the impact he continues to make off the field. Now in his fifth year with the Riverside program, Nick has poured the same work ethic, discipline, and character into our athletes that made him successful in sports, in serving our country, and in becoming the incredible man he is today.

Our kids, our programs, and our community are better because of him.

Our dear friend, Jaclyn Doberdruk, was recently diagnosed with Low Grade Serous Carcinoma, a rare form of ovarian cancer. Earlier this month she underwent surgery and is now at home recovering. Reminder: Tonight is the final date for equipment turn in! Please bring equipment between 6:00-7:30pm to the equipment pod located near the football fields at Riverside High School. PLEASE remember to remove any extra stickers your son may have added to his helmet throughout the season. A reminder that you will need to turn in the following:

Helmet and guardian cap
Shoulder pads
Game pants and jersey
Practice pants and jersey

Congratulations to our Riverside Youth Football 10U team!

Your 2025 OAC Division 1 Youth Football Championship win was nothing short of dominant — undefeated and unscored on!

Every one of the 15 players brought their absolute best, playing together as one unstoppable unit.
Final scores: 42-0, 46-0, and 26-0.

What an incredible weekend and a championship performance to remember. 🏆💚💛

🖤💛🩵 Jaclyn Doberdruk, wife of Coach Bryan (Riverside Football & Iron Athlete), was just recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has a long battle ahead and it is so important that we come together as a community to show our love and support to her and her family during this time.

Special Thanks to the Riverside Youth Football Family!

A huge thank you to all our players, parents, coaches, board members, and the school for doing a phenomenal job yesterday as we hosted the League Super Bowl. The day ran smoothly thanks to everyone’s hard work and support.

Big shoutout to our Riverside B Gold team, who pulled off an exciting victory in the B Division Silver Bracket Super Bowl! It was a thrilling game filled with big moments — and our kids never flinched.

Another well-deserved shoutout to our Riverside C Gold team, who battled their way to the C Division Gold Division Super Bowl, finishing as runners-up against a tough Willoughby squad. As the #6 seed, they made an incredible run, fought hard, and took the game down to the final seconds.

Thank you all for making this such a memorable way to cap off the 2025 season.

Reminder- we are hosting two of our teams — B Gold (11:00 AM) and C Gold (2:00 PM) — for the Super Bowl at Riverside today!!

Come out and cheer these boys on as we wrap up another successful season.

In addition, we’ll be holding our first equipment turn-in session that day. You can drop off equipment at the storage pod near the varsity baseball field during any of the following times:

10:00–11:00 AM

12:30–2:00 PM

3:00–5:00 PM

We’ll also announce an additional date for anyone unable to make it this weekend.
