Plans to reopen the range here at Sherwood Forest East are continuing with the first several more work days to get it all ready. There is some before and after shots of the work done today behind the shooting line. Thankfully we were able to scare off the copperhead so we could continue working.

Sherwood Forest East is located 10 minutes away from Sherwood Forest Faire.
I am considering having an archery camping weekend. Come out on Friday after 12:00 noon to establish camp. Friday night bonfire (if there is no burn ban). Friday afternoon or early Saturday morning, sign up for events you wish to participate in.
Saturday
9:00 - 10:00 Fun shoots
10:00 - 12:00 3D and 2D competitions
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch
1:00 - 6:00 3D and 2D competitions continue
6:00 - 7:30 Dinner and awards
7:30 - ??? Bonfire, drinking and fellowship

Pack up camp, say goodbyes...

I don't even want to charge anything but...
Bathrooms will be porta potties. If like to get 2 of them and they are $110 for the weekend.

Also would like to provide gifts for contests.

So if I can get a minimum of 20 people to sign up and commit to attending and I charge $20/person, that's $400 - $220 for porta potties leaving $180 for some prizes. That leaves food, drinks, ice, etc. We can have a pot luck or each can provide their own meals and drinks/ice.

Maximum attendance = 50
