RACE RECAP:
If this past weekend taught me anything it’s that sometimes racing incident calls go your way and sometimes they do not. I started outside poll in the heat and lead 6 laps before getting spun and then sent to the rear with one lap to go. While this was extremely unfortunate I understand that as infield workers and race directors you can’t see everything all the time. This put me starting 15th in the feature. I worked my way up 7 spots before getting a right rear flat and that was the end of the night for us. I ended up 13th with a DNF. We are getting closer and closer every weekend folks. With only few races left in the season I look forward to seeing what we can make happen at the next one! A huge thank you to all my sponsors!!

RACE RECAP
SSS NIGHT TWO:
I started on the poll in the heat race and finished 3rd. This gave us a transfer spot to the A-main. No B-Main for us this weekend!! Being able to watch the B from the stands was so exciting and definitely an improvement. We did a redraw for the A and I drew a 15. I started 15th in the show and finished 9th! Top 10 finish SAY WHATT!! This was such an amazing weekend for us. The car handled great and was able to carry us up 6 spots. With a car count of 35 I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be apart of all of it.

SSS NIGHT THREE:
I started 3rd in the heat and finished 3rd. I redrew for my position in the feature and pulled a 9! Starting this far up in the feature has not been something i’ve been able to do yet. We didn’t run a B-main this weekend. Unfortunately we ran into a few hiccups and the car wasn’t handling as good we would’ve liked it to. We dropped back quite a few positions and ended up finishing 15th. Overall I learned so much and still got very valuable seat time out of it. Figuring out the setup in this car has been very trial and error but all positive for the most part. A huge thank you always to my sponsors for getting me to the track all three nights of this series! Three back to back weekends was definitely a change of pace for us but so much fun!

ROLL CALL! Summer Showdown Series night #2! 🏁

RACE RECAP:
They were not lying when they said they were running a fast show this weekend! We started with a car count of 32! No doubt we were running a B-main. This was definitely an experience, we haven’t had the car count to run a B-main at CBS while I have been in this class. I quickly came to realize I got used to having a lot more time between races to make decisions. I started 7th in the heat and managed to climb two spots, one away from a transfer. We made some adjustments and were ready to go out for the B-main starting outside poll. I ended up finishing 2nd! May seem small to most but this a very big accomplishment for me. That put me 20th out of 24 in the A-main. With not much time between races we managed to figure out a setup to get back out on the track again. I ended up finishing 22nd. Unfortunately I got spun and hit the tire pretty good which caused the left rear spring to come out. After that I had no drive, which made it almost impossible to keep up. Overall we had so much fun, and being able to get that much seat time in one night is a win in my book! RACE RECAP: Firstly, I'd like to apologize for my lack of activity. I am nearing the end of my current semester in college, and all the exams, assignments, and finals have been overwhelmingly taking up the majority of my time recently. With that being said, we have three races to recap along with a new color scheme and wrap for the season! The first two races of the season, after a long-awaited off-season, I finished 16th and 11th. We have come a long way, and we are finally at a point where the car is dialed in and we are making small adjustments to accommodate the changing track conditions. I still have so much to learn, but we are making leaps and bounds. The most recent race we participated in did not go as planned. In the feature, we made it one lap and were unfortunately done for the night. Things happen and I truly believe that this was one of those instances where you put all your faith in everything happening for a reason. The hit was head-on with another driver; unfortunately, after being checked out by EMS, we were advised to go to the ER. After getting a CT scan, everything came back normal, and after a week to recover, I am almost back to normal. We are still in the process of doing repairs to get us ready for the next upcoming race, and this weekend getting rained out was our blessing in disguise. A super big thank you to HHH Towing for helping us get the car back home!! 💜🏁
