THROW BACK THURSDAY.

I haven’t really shared any videos of my stage time yet. So I thought it would be good to do so. Especially for myself, as motivation.
In the past couple months, I’ve been working a lot, and getting ready for leaving Australia. My training has suffered as well as my food.

I can’t wait to finally have some time again, to concentrate on my training and my nutrition plan.

Seeing myself on those pictures just seems unreal right now. It shows me what I can achieve, if I have a goal to work to. Now, 1.5 weeks post comp, my abs are disappearing and I’m not even close to as lean as I was. But it’s ok. It is important to love yourself, doesn’t matter what stage your body is in. You only need to feel comfortable with it.
Right now, I’m trying to support as much as I can, to be ready for the city nationals.

And in the meantime I’m also trying to find a new goal. I’m still lifting heavy, I’m still hitting the treadmill or stepper. But I’m also enjoying eating healthy food without putting everything on the scale. Also, I’m trying not to weigh myself anymore. It isn’t necessary anymore at this stage.
I don’t need to loose weight, neither should I be afraid of putting weight on.

Weighing myself twice a week and always needing to loose weight is pretty heavy on your mind.

And even though I felt bad on stage, that quick shoot just made my day. I think I might be just doing the photo shoots without going on stage😂 what do you think????

I still love doing my cardio sooooo much. It keeps my mind clear. Especially after a good weight workout.
I’m just so glad that I still enjoy going to the gym, lifting weights and going on the treadmill or stepper.
It still makes me happy. And that shows me, even after such a big comp prep, that I want to keep going. Improving my strength. I love being strong, love having abs.
LIFE IS GOOD!!!
