Maui Sunriders Bike Company was founded in 2001 as a small family-owned business that filled a need in Maui for a self-paced bike tour from Haleakala all the way down to the sea. We offer a bike ride that makes you feel as if you’re biking at home with family and friends. For 20 years, an incredible local family ran this bike tour operation. In 2019, the bike tour business was acquired by two young eager professional cyclists who wanted to make a difference and lessen the impact these tours have on Maui! We take pride in giving all riders a thorough safety instructional demo from our certified bike coaches. We also operate our downhill ride at times that don't impact the community during rush hour and we have several safety checks to make sure each rider will be safe! As new owners, Covid made us re-think our impact and what we can do to give back to the community. We listened to requests by the community to offer sales and service. In 2021, we expanded our Paia location to also offer sales and service. Shortly after, by January of 2021, we opened our second location in Kihei. We continued to get requests for more locations and so we have now opened our third location in Lahaina December 2022. Maui Sunriders has a brand new fleet of rental bikes on Maui!
