🔥 ANNOUNCING! 🔥..the formation of the Hawaii Disc Golf Hall Of Fame!!

After being approached by a Member/Representative of both the International and Disc Golf Hall of Fames this week with the premise of creating and overseeing the formation and implementation of a Hall of Fame to recognize and Honor those in Hawaii who have represented the sport of Disc Golf with greater 'public' integrity and an all inclusive public presence, we have decided that this falls 'directly' in line with our decades long Mission to publicly expose the sport out here!! (y)
Our Mission has NEVER been to run tournaments, sell merchandize, create 'private' oriented DG factions/groups/orgs etc, but instead simply to 'open' up the sport out here in a more public presence and light! 😉
After repeated requests for us(HDG) to be involved, extended discussions regarding such, and us receiving instructions/guidance for structure and deployment, followed by the creation/formation of a Committee to establish criteria for inclusion, we are making this announcement, seeking input, feedback, involvement and nominations.
"EVERYONE" is Welcome and Invited to participate in the formation, implementation and oversight, helping to determine the criteria for inclusion and Honor...Such as "public" Participational and Promotional History(ies)/Presences, Inclusivity, Integrity, Personal Sacrifices, Records, and other criteria yet to be determined, made on behalf of the representation of the Sport of Disc Golf.
One need not be affiliated with PDGA, or any other DG or non-DG organization, so as to participate. The only requirement is a desire to bring forth to light those who have clearly exhibited and represented a public personal history in sharing the Sport with anyone and everyone, and of course 'openly' encouraging others to do the same..much in the same way that we are being Honored and invited to represent Disc Golf in a higher public presence via the formation and oversight of a Hawaii Disc Golf HoF, Honoring those locally who deserve recognition and have openly worked and sacrificed for the whole sport over the decades.
Again, as in line with our simple and singular 'public' Mission to expand the Sport out here, and to 'publicly' Honor those involved and of like mindset, we seek any and all "public" participation, input, and suggestions regarding Organization and Committee structure, implementation, deployment, oversight and more related to the formation of and inclusion in the HDGHoF.
We send deep sincere Thanks and Mahalos to the many that have quietly and of course 'openly' supported our public Mission o'er the years, and invite you and your friends to help Honor those who have represented the Sport out here in a higher flying public presence!..with Aloha 🌈🌴
