Another year of our Youth Basketball Skills Camp was a success!!!
This year saw the expansion of even more kids who were able to attend as we had students from early elementary all the way to the high school level. We were thrilled to have 125 students attend this year!!
We'd like to give some special shout outs to people and businesses who helped make this event possible. First, our two sponsors - Bank of Colorado and Colorado Roadhouse. Thank you for your generous donations to help provide this opportunity for these kids! Huge thanks, again, to charlesabouo who came and was a guest coach for the middle school and high school students. His basketball knowledge and experience is unmatched and we were lucky he was able to join us for a second year!!
Finally, thank you to Coach Osborn and Coach Forster, the high school players, volunteer coaches, and all adults who helped during the camp. We couldn't put this on without you! Coach Osborn and Coach Forster are thrilled with the momentum and enthusiasm from the kids. They hope to provide more basketball opportunities for younger kids to keep them interested and invested in growing the future of the basketball program in Pagosa!!
