When Kyle isn’t setting up reservations or helping guests gear up for their next adventure, you’ll find him carving turns or in search of powder up at Wolf Creek in the winter and he usually spends his summers traveling around Europe.
And while he’s usually dressed for the mountains, sometimes Kyle likes to switch things up and wear a nice suit—because adventure and style both matter. 😉
Kyle brings his passion for the outdoors into everything he does, and we’re lucky to have him as part of the Alpen Haus family.

🎿 Meet Gavin – Alpen Haus Ski Center’s Legend! 🎣
When Gavin’s not helping you gear up like a pro at Alpen Haus, he’s out there fly-fishing with flies he ties himself—because store-bought is for quitters. If he’s not knee-deep in a river, he’s slinging discs as a pro-am disc golfer, probably showing off shots the rest of us can only YouTube.
Born and raised right here in Pagosa Springs, Gavin grew up skiing these slopes before he could spell “ski.” He knows every run, tree, and secret stash of powder like it’s his childhood playground—because it was.
And in his free time? Well… let’s just say he’s actively trying to land himself on the naughty list—thanks to a few spontaneous skinny dips in Cabo San Lucas 😏🌊
