Howdy Anglers,
Stripers om bait at the dam is very good most morning but can get crowded. Uplake the bite is sporadic with some days better then others. Lots of school fish are in good condition but some are just "ok" so you need to move around somedays. Smallmouth bite is KING. Fishingg just about any structures including slick rock canyons, the double tail grubs is medium to dar colors working the best. Waiting for top water to take off on stripers soon .
Launch Ramp: Currently Stateline is your only accessible launch ramp. It is currently 4 lanes, however National Park Service is working on extending it so there will a time with only 2 lanes. Antelope Point Marina public ramp is not accessible due to low water. There is some water being put in from Flaming George and "yes we do have water in Lake Powell" despite what the media has been saying. You do have to watch for rocks that's for sure. The word for this summer fishing Lake Powell at the Ramp is "patience". The ramp is going to be conjested for sure and NPS is does not have enough rangers to monitor. The best practice is to load your boat at the top of the hill and launch quickly, when coming in, exit quickly and organize your boat at the top of the hill! This is going to be key this summer to prevent "tempers" from flaring. Kayakers will launch from Antelope Point and Wahweap Marina. There will not be any Ranglers possibly at launch ramp as NPS said they are very short on staff.
Uplake Fueling: They are still working on it and you can always check status on their page: https://www.nps.gov/glca/index.htm
RV Parking: Check on Antelope Point Marina for a great location right on Lake Powell : https://antelopepointlakepowell.com/explore-lake-powell/rv-park/
