Holding maximum elevation on the Waydoo Flyer EVO.

Even just a quick mild forgiving prop bubble on the surface of the water can help clear your head from being mesmerized by reflective πŸͺž glass water. It can help reorient and reset your elevation senses. In this case I was just holding down that reset button πŸ˜†.
Touching down also resets your senses too.

This extended breach is just more for fun and demonstrates the stability and forgiveness of this setup. Nevertheless, experience and skill is required too. Do so at your own risk, experience, and confidence (in gear and abilities)

Aaannddd the new Waydoo_Official Flight Assist tech may have helped as well. πŸ˜‰ 😎
Although, a rider must also physically override the assist to ride at maximum elevation like this.
Likely a little bit of everything contributing to this demonstration.

I was predicting that the Folding prop would be a little less efficient than the default 3 blade EVO prop (uncaged) because the 3 blade prop runs faster than the folding prop at the same gears and has a higher top speed. I was also getting more range with the 3 blade prop in high speed runs... But those high speed tests were not as controlled to produce duplicate/ comparable results as my efficiency tests.

It's not the first time I've been wrong on pre-test-predictions and surprised by prop performance. For example, the eFoil Solutions Streamline Prop for the Flyer ONE performed exceptionally well on the Flyer ONE series

Though the EVO folding prop is most efficient (up to 10% more efficient at 15 mph), it does not have that same massive advantage or speed over the Flyer ONE series prop.
Default prop *may* have longer range at speeds of 20 mph and above.

Biggest reason to purchase the folding prop is for the intent to surf waves depowered.
Maybe also if someone just really wants an aluminum prop.
The default prop (uncaged) will perform as well or better in other categories (top speed, prop breach, etc.) IMO

FYI. At 10% battery, power-saving mode kicks in. Speed and power will be reduced. At the already low gear setting of 9/24 I was reduced to puttering on the surface. You can increase the gear setting to get on foil again for another 5% or longer but I suggest
Returning to shore by 10% for extra security. Although draining the battery even lower should not harm the battery, repeatedly doing so is not ideal for the long-term life of any battery.
I rode back and forth near my return spot with the intent to stop right at 90%.
Typically my riding style will tire me out way before the life of this big battery. The standard battery likely has plenty of range to spare too (for my use) and will shave 4 lbs.

Eventually I'll have more detailed videos on YouTube about my experiences and Living Life to the Foilest on the Waydoo EVO on Lake Powell

Several brands are doing awesome Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Seasonal Sales. If anyone was thinking about Waydoo, today is the last day for sales. But I bet there may be sales at boat shows next year as is common for many brands and shows
