Reserve your team spot for the Paxton Park 2-Player Scramble and City Amateur Golf Championships. This 36-hole scramble will be June 20 and 21 at beautiful Paxton Park. New this year, the tournament will add amateur divisions for men under 65, a senior division for men 65 and older, a junior division (under 21), and a ladies division. Each division will be recognized as City Champions of their respective divisions.

The deadline is this Saturday at 6 p.m. to register for the Mark Mullen Memorial Junior Golf Tournament. Fees are $45 for 18-hole age divisions and $30 for 9-hole age divisions. Compete in separate boys and girls divisions ranging from ages 10 through recent high school graduates. The tournament will be Monday, June 8 with tee times starting at 8am. Entry forms in the Pro Shop. Call 270-444-9514 with questions.

• The course will be closed Friday, May 15, until 3 p.m. (including the driving range and practice greens) to host the annual Lone Oak Lions Club fundraiser. Tee times will be available after 3.
• Paxton Park also will be closed on Monday, May 18, until 1 p.m. (including the driving range and practice greens) for greens maintenance. Tee times will be available after 1.

Join us Friday, April 17 at 6 p.m. for our annual Spring Players Dinner! Enjoy Texas Roadhouse favorites—ribs or salmon (choose at sign-up). Limited seating in the Players Room, so reservations are required. The cost is $30 per person – spouses/significant others welcome! After dinner, we’ll share our 2026 plans and have a Q&A session.

⛳ Free Rules of Golf Seminar! Want to sharpen your knowledge of the rules of golf? Join us Tuesday, April 7 at 6:00 PM for a FREE Rules of Golf Seminar open to the entire golf community! This interactive seminar will include video, Q&A, and insights from a top official. We especially encourage high school golf team players and coaches to attend. It’s a great opportunity to learn directly from one of the best rules experts around.

To allow staff to be with their families, Paxton Park will close at noon on Christmas Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 24) and reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 26.
