Coach Spotlight: Welcome, Coach MK!

We are excited to officially welcome Coach MK Roberts to the EAA coaching family as our 16 Black Head Coach this season!

MK comes to EAA following an impressive collegiate career at Tennessee Tech University, where she competed in both indoor and beach volleyball. Her accomplishments on the court speak for themselves, but what we’re most excited about is the knowledge, energy, and competitive mindset she is ready to bring to our athletes.

One thing that immediately stood out to us about MK is the uplifting demeanor she brought to our introduction. She values GRIT, an open mindset, and athletes who aren’t afraid to push themselves outside of their comfort zones, all things that align perfectly with what we strive to develop at EAA.

We can’t wait to watch Coach MK take the lead with 16 Black and begin building relationships with her athletes and families this season!

Please help us give Coach MK a BIG EAA welcome! 💙🏐

And apparently, we have an important assignment for our EAA families. Drop your favorite local coffee shop in the comments and help Coach MK find her new go-to spot! ☕️

Coach Spotlight: Welcome Back to EAA, Coach Sarah!

This Coach Spotlight is an extra special one as we welcome Sarah Bremmerkamp back to the EAA family. This time on the other side of the court as a coach!

Sarah spent four years as an EAA athlete, serving as a team captain throughout her time with us. I had the privilege of personally coaching Sarah for three of those years, so watching her return to EAA in this new role is truly a full-circle moment for me.

Sarah will always hold a special place in my heart. As coaches, we hope to make an impact on our athletes, but I don’t think athletes always realize the impact they make on us in return. Sarah was a meaningful part of my own growth as a coach, and watching the young woman she has become and everything she continues to accomplish makes me incredibly proud.

Now a junior studying Exercise Science at Murray State University, Sarah is ready to take the leadership, discipline, and love for the game she developed as an athlete and pour it into the next generation. This season, she’ll be helping with our EAA Developmental group, working with some of our youngest athletes as they build their skills, confidence, and love for volleyball. We couldn’t think of a better place for her to begin her coaching journey!

There aren’t many things more rewarding than watching one of your former athletes excel in life and then come back home ready to give back.

Please help us officially welcome Coach Sarah to the EAA coaching family! We are so proud to have you back, Sarah.

Coach Spotlight: Emmah Stephens
Coach Emmah will be EAA's U13 coach this season!

We are so excited to officially welcome Coach Emmah Stephens to the EAA coaching family this season!

Emmah brings a genuine love for volleyball, but what stood out to us even more is her passion for building relationships with athletes and helping them grow in confidence, both as players and as people. As a teacher, she already understands the importance of meeting kids where they are, encouraging them through challenges, and celebrating the growth that comes from hard work.

Coach Emmah believes that great athletes aren’t defined by never making mistakes, but by how they respond to them. Her emphasis on effort, attitude, teamwork, and continually getting better fits perfectly with what we value at EAA.

Please help us give Coach Emmah a big EAA welcome! We can’t wait to see the relationships she builds and the impact she makes on our athletes this season.

What an incredible record-breaking day for EAA Volleyball!

Today we are excited to officially announce our 2026-2027 team rosters!

We are beyond grateful for the overwhelming interest in EAA this season. With 9 teams, this is officially our biggest season yet! The talent that came through tryouts was incredible, and we couldn’t be more excited about the athletes, families, and coaching staff that will make this season so special. Our coaching family continues to grow, and we truly can’t wait to get started!

A few important reminders:
• Mandatory practices will not begin until the first week of January.
• Open gym opportunities will be announced in October. These are optional and are designed to give athletes extra opportunities to stay connected and continue developing before the season begins.
• Coaches will be reaching out to their teams within the next two weeks to introduce themselves and touch base.

*Please make sure you’re looking at the roster for your athlete’s age group and locating them by their tryout number, unless you’ve been instructed otherwise.

Please note: On the 14U roster, there are two athletes with the same tryout number. If you see that duplicate number, please use the athlete’s initials listed beside the number to identify the correct athlete. As well as the 12's Blue team, which has two numbers that say blue tape, due to double numbers.

Developmental Program Announcement:
Registration for our EAA Developmental Program will open in October, and spots will be limited. Athletes 13 and under who were not selected for a rostered team this season will receive the first opportunity to register before any remaining spots are opened to the public. We are excited to continue investing in the growth of young athletes and can’t wait to watch them develop!

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact:
📞 Mike Tapscott – 270-210-4720
📞 Sarah Tapscott – 270-816-2189

Thank you for trusting EAA to be part of your athlete’s journey. We are honored to have you with us and can’t wait to see what this season holds. Here’s to another year of growth, grit, and great volleyball!

Join the family.

We love hearing from our former athletes about the impact EAA Volleyball has had on their journey both on and off the court.

Here’s what Kaya Coleman, now competing at Lincoln Memorial University, had to say about her two years with EAA:

“They aren’t easy… they are HARD, but they WILL develop their players! I definitely would not be at the college level I am today if it wasn’t for them! The training was 10000% worth it. Once you’re a part of EAA, you’re a part of their family. They truly want you to succeed!”

At EAA, we don’t just train athletes…we build disciplined, hardworking, confident young women who carry these lessons into every part of life. 💪

💙🖤 Join the family. Train with the best. Unlock your potential. 🖤💙

Coach Spotlight: Coach Chancie

It’s hard to put into words what Coach Chancie Coleman means to EAA.

From the very beginning, she has been an instrumental part of our club, helping shape not only our athletes but also the culture and values that make EAA what it is today. For years, she has poured her heart into every team she has coached, challenging athletes to grow in skill, confidence, character, and grit.

Coach Chancie has a unique ability to connect with her athletes on a personal level while still challenging them to reach their full potential. She is truly a player’s coach; someone who earns the trust and respect of her athletes while helping them become the very best versions of themselves. That kind of coach is hard to find, and we’re incredibly grateful to have her.

Her passion for the game is matched only by her love for the athletes she coaches, and we’re thankful for the leadership, dedication, and friendship she brings to EAA each season.

We’re grateful to have Coach Chancie as part of the EAA family and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll continue to make this year.
