My name is Bonita, ever since I was a little girl I knew that flying was my passion - I just didn't know what it would entail, or when I would get an opportunity to pursue that dream. One day in April, 2009, I saw paragliding for the first time after I purchased a one-way ticket to Hawaii. I was driving to the North Shore and we passed Kahana Bay and I looked up in the sky and said to my friends, "What the hell is that?!! I want to do that!!!" Two weeks later, I began learning how to fly. To this day, I still get excited for every flight, even if it is only a short time in the air. I recently received my tandem license and am even more anxious and excited to share the stoke with someone else! To help someone else get so excited about flying is one of the best experiences in the world.

We went on a fun EUC ride through the city, stopping to look for Chonk 2.0, aka Beef Buddy - the huge Stellar sea lion seen at Pier 39 recently. Sadly, we didn't see him.

We've had full sun, no wind, and hot days; I was flying today then suddenly the fog rolled in and came in low to the ground. It was a fun sesh while it lasted: I started at Cheetah then went to the north side and climbed up and top-landed Perch. The fog started rolling in so I top-landed Walker to wait and see what it would do. I noticed it was getting worse so I flew down and called it a day.
