Pacific City Surf Off

Pacific City Surf Off The fifth year of the Surf Off will be an Expression Session on September 27th at Cape Kiwanda, in P This is free and open to the public.

October 15th and 16th 2016
This year the event will be a one Expression Session with FREE Clinics-Demos and BBQ. Then a one day competition. Below is info on boat classes and the competition, which is not happening in 2015. The Pacific City Surf Off is Oregon's Premier Paddle Surf event. We use Judges that are ISA/Surfing America Certified. You can register at:

The competition will be held at Cape Kiwanda, in Pacific City. Heats will begin Saturday October 18th at 9am. Be at the Cape at 8:00am for the competitor safety meeting and to get your heat times. Divisions:

-High Performance- Any "sit inside" kayak under 9 ft in length

-International Class- minimum length 9ft , max 12 ft, and no fins

-Wave Ski- Any SOT kayak or 'wave ski' under 10.5 ft in length

-SUP (Stand Up Paddle)- Any stand-up paddle board w/leash

-Longboat (Sea Kayaks)- Any "sit inside" kayak over 12 ft in length

All boats must have secure flotation.
