CBRA Members,

Attached are the final points and awards list for the 2025/2026 season. Also included are pictures of your awards.

I had full intentions on finishing the season and hosting the awards banquet. However, as you see from the text I received from the President, that option was taken from me and I was threatened with law enforcement.

As a result, All the seasons awards were placed in the portable building today. The computer, keys to the buildings, credit card machine and physical copies of the attached documents were left in the cabinet of the office.

I hope you all receive your awards as I planned. Every member who completed their work hours and attended 4 races won not just a membership bag full of goodies but a placing award!

Moving forward I will no longer be your point of contact.

Edit: I just realized I didn’t take a picture of the poles results. Those are coming as soon as I can go somewhere to print them. I no longer have a computer at my house.

Dear Members,

I would like to apologize for losing my temper and for my choice of words on the CBRA page.

The treatment I have received over the past two months has been more than I have been able to handle, and unfortunately my frustration got the better of me.

In the best interest of all parties involved, I will be stepping away from my role as quickly as possible. I am still waiting for buckles and bridles to arrive for awards.

I wish all competitors the very best moving forward.

To clear up some confusion, CBRA is still very much alive and well.

I have had several old and new members come to Traci and I about raising money for the new season and continuing on with CBRA.

With that being said, we are getting 2027 ballots in order to do early votes for those that are interested and/or want to run for Office
Secretary, Treasurer, Points Keeper (which will be done by 2 people) Presisent, and Vice President. These people have already been in touch with Traci and I. We have had 2 very productive meetings and are planning on a 3rd.

We hope this clears things up for everyone.

Anyone who is interested in running yourself or wish to nominate another, please directly text president Rick Ranson at (850) 207-1928 position you are interested in. Please include name, contact info, and position for any nominees.

We at CBRA have NOT heard the “story” or “details” and quite frankly we don’t need to. If you whip your horse in the face at any event at the Chumuckla arena during your run, you will be asked to leave resulting in forfeiture of any fees or winnings. We do not condone nor tolerate animal abuse.

Please get entered for tomorrow. There is a chance, I’ll be running the office solo as my office crew have had unexpected situations that may keep them from helping all day.

☔️💦As for weather, we are watching the weather. As of now, it’s saying we may get light rain on/off during the show. .05 inches to be exact. And it’s currently showing no lightening. If this is the weather, we will proceed as planned.

BUT, if the storm changes and the lightening and thunder is going to be over us during the show, we will reschedule.

IF!! IF, we must reschedule and you know of an event next weekend or the following, please comment. We do our best not to book on top of another local (within an hour) race.

I will place an update on this feed and blast it out as much as we get closer.

If you bring in sponsors of $100 or more…each sponsor is worth 1 hour of work. Why? Because drumming up sponsorships takes time.
