Floodwaters damaged it. Work got this feeder standing again.
When the flood came through the ranch, getting some things back up and running took more than just a quick fix.
It meant checking the country, looking over roads, watching the weather, making sure blinds and access points stayed in good shape, and putting tools on damages so they could get back where they belong.
This feeder in particular now is...Standing. Back out in the field. Filled. And ready to go.
That's ranch work.
A lot of what sets Lazy L Ranch apart happens long before a hunter ever arrives. Feeders get checked. Water gets watched. Roads get cleaned up. Blinds get maintained. Wildlife movement gets paid attention to. Damages get fixed one job at a time.
There isn't much glamour in a feeder repair, but there's a whole lot of purpose.
Good stewardship means taking care of the habitat, the herd, the equipment, and the country through every season, not only when it's time to hunt. When guests come to Lazy L Ranch TX, they're stepping onto a place that's been worked, watched, and cared for with the long game in mind.
That's the difference we believe matters.
Sometimes conservation looks like a mature axis buck moving through the brush.
Sometimes it looks like a repaired feeder standing back in the field after a flood.
Both matter.
