At Lazy L Ranch, supplemental feed is provided year‑round to support healthy wildlife and responsible herd management. Late winter is one of the most important times for nutrition-especially during dry seasons or periods of limited rainfall when natural forage is scarce and lower in quality.

We supplement with alfalfa hay, protein feed, cottonseed (during certain seasons) and foot plots....all key sources of protein, fat and energy.

Providing consistent, high‑quality nutrition-no matter the weather-helps reduce stress on wildlife and supports stronger, healthier herds throughout the year.
