Today, we were ecstatic to collaborate with the Oyster Bay Historical Society, providing our town's senior citizens with a beautiful and insightful tour of the bay aboard our historic IDA MAY! Our captains shed light on the rich maritime history of Oyster Bay following a scenic walking tour around the town.

Honored to witness the moving dedication and unveiling of the Baymens Memorial Statue at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park.

This beautiful monument stands as a lasting tribute to the courage, heritage, and hard work of the baymen who have shaped Oyster Bay’s history, identity, and connection to the water for generations. Their work on the harbor is part of the story we are proud to help carry forward through education, recreation, and stewardship.

We are grateful to the Baymens Heritage Association and all those who helped bring this meaningful tribute to life. It was a powerful reminder of the people, traditions, and working waterfront that continue to make Oyster Bay so special.

May this monument inspire future generations to honor our harbor, protect our waters, and remember the baymen past, present, and future.
