Feeling corny? One of the most popular booths at the fair is the fire roasted corn booth. If you have not tried this fantastic fair food you are missing out! Booth is ran by Ventura local Spencer Karayan of the world famous Spencer Makenzies. Following in his father's footsteps, Spencer and his sister McKenzie are slinging some of the best corn delights your pallete has ever encountered! Maybe you have heard of another Ventura Icon, Spencer Mackenzies? This restaurant was started by John Karayan and his wife Jenny, and named after their first two kids names, with menus items inspired by their other children Parker and Brooklyn. I guess you can say good eats is a family tradition. Get down to the fair as quick as you can to try some of their corn or seafood inspired food, you will not be disappointed!

We all know that the Old West Cinnamon Rolls are some of the best around at the fair! One of their other booths has some unique flavors as well. We experienced a deep fried pickle bites that were absolutely fabulous. We also tried their bacon cheese burger that was smothered with Mac and Cheese. Both were both great fair food. The picture of their pickle bites do not do it justice, they were huge! Highly recommend you stop by the booth and give them a try!

Tonight at 4pm the Conejo Oaks baseball team that plays in the Southern Section of the California Collegiate League, a summer league that attracts student baseball players back home and playing a MINOR LEAGUE schedule without giving up their College Eligibility.
Tonight, the Oaks will be playing for the State Championship against the Walnut Creek Crawdads, who won the Northern Division while the Oaks will be representing the Southern Division.
