🏊‍♀️ THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 POOL SEASON! 🏊‍♂️

The 2026 pool season has officially come to an end! While we’re a little sad to see summer fade into fall, we’re so happy to look back on a season filled with fun, laughter, and lots of memories at the Oxford Public Pool!

This summer, our community showed up in a BIG way:

🏊 2,350 general admissions between pool passes and cash-paying customers!

🎉 19 pool parties — so many birthdays, celebrations, and good times!

☀️ 5 FREE SWIMS, thanks to our amazing community sponsors:
• Oxford Lions Club
• Oxford Saw & Mower
• Wheatstate Technologies

🌙 Our July 3rd Late Swim broke records and was an incredible way to kick off the holiday weekend!

🎊 We hosted our 1st Annual Teen Night Party and had a blast!

🌺 Our Luau Party brought the tropical vibes to Oxford!

🍦 And let’s not forget the concession stand! You all kept us busy, with more than $3,500 in concession sales — with cans of Dr. Pepper and ice cream bars definitely being some of the crowd favorites!

Most importantly,THANK YOU to everyone who came out, brought your families, celebrated birthdays, attended events, grabbed a snack, or simply spent a summer afternoon at the pool. You are what makes our community special.

A HUGE thank-you to our pool managers, lifeguards, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who helped make the 2026 season such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Now it’s time to say goodbye to swimsuits and hello to fall… but don’t worry, summer will be back before we know it! ☀️💦

WE ARE OPEN TODAY!! It’s the last day of the season 😭

Well will open at 1 but will close at 5pm due to sports practices for our lifeguards. Make sure you come out and spend the last day with us!

Final Weekend at the Oxford Public Pool! ☀️💦

Labor Day weekend is here, which means there are just 3 more days to enjoy the pool before we close for the season!

This summer has been one to remember! This year, we were able to enjoy exciting improvements like fresh paint on the bathhouse, a new speaker for music all day long, more night swims, and several fun community events.

Thank you to everyone who spent their summer with us. Whether you came once or every day, you helped make this season a huge success!

As we wrap up our 54th season, we're already looking forward to next year as we celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the Oxford Public Pool! We have even more fun in store, and we can't wait to see you all back in the summer of 2027.

Let's make these last three days the best ones yet! 🌊☀️

Summer is here for the weekend! And with temperatures expected to be HOT HOT HOT today and tomorrow, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of the next-to-last weekend at the Oxford Public Pool!

🏊 WEEKEND POOL FUN CONTINUES! ☀️

The Oxford Public Pool is now open weekends only as we head toward the end of the season! We had a great turnout yesterday, and we’re excited to keep the fun going for the next three weeks!

We’ll officially close for the season on Monday, September 7th.

🌊 As we approach the end of another great pool season, here's a look at our remaining schedule! ☀️

📅 Sunday, August 16 – Last day of daily operations before we close during the week for the start of the school year.

We'll then be open on weekends only:

🏊 August 22 & 23 | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
🏊 August 29 & 30 | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
🏊 Labor Day Weekend: September 5, 6 & 7 | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

As another summer comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who spent time with us at the Oxford Public Pool. From swim lessons and free swim days to family nights and Teen Night, it's been an incredible season filled with fun, laughter, and great memories.

We're sad to see the season come to an end, but we're already looking forward to welcoming everyone back next summer. Make plans to join us for one last swim before we close for the season! 💙🏊
