Soma Academy Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu of Oxford We are committed to improving the lives of our students and spreading the educational and moral benefits of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

We offer Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for men, women, children, and law enforcement. We have been teaching Jiu-Jitsu in Southwest Ohio for over 10 years. With our five academies nationwide, Soma Academy is known for its realistic, proven, street ready self-defense, high level of teaching, and an environment that is welcoming for anyone, no matter your background. We believe that every body c

Congratulations to our team members that put it on the line today at the Dayton Fuji BJJ Tournament! They secured a 3rd place victory in the Adult division out of 30 teams with only 7 competitors! Nice work everyone!! Special thanks to our coaches (Scott, Ferdinand, and Dean) that took time out of their Saturday to help guide the team!

Winter Training Camp is almost here! ❄️🥋

We’re excited to host 7th-degree black belt Robin Gieseler and 5th-degree black belt Allen Hopkins at our Dayton location for two amazing days of Jiu-Jitsu:

🗓 Saturday, Dec 6 – 10:00 AM–1:00 PM

This is a great chance to level up your game with world-class instruction. Outside academies are welcome—come train, learn, and connect with the community.
