Welcome Marcus Reilly to the Rhode Island Swarm family!
We are thrilled to introduce our new Boys Director, Marcus Reilly, a true staple in the New England basketball community. With an impressive coaching journey and a heart dedicated to the growth of basketball in Rhode Island, we couldn't be more excited for what's to come.
Marcus currently serves as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Division I Stonehill, and over the past four seasons, he has made his mark at Division I Bryant University. His extensive coaching experience includes eight seasons at the University of Rhode Island, where he held roles as an assistant, associate, and interim head coach. Marcus also led Rhode Island College for four years, achieving a remarkable record of 71-37 (.657), setting a new standard for the program's success. Additionally, he has been the Head Coach at CCRI and an Assistant Coach at Division I Jacksonville State.
But it's not just his coaching résumé that makes him stand out. Marcus Reilly is a true community pillar in Rhode Island, deeply committed to the long-term development of basketball in our state. He brings a thoughtful and dedicated approach to everything he does and over 15 year of collegiate coaching experience.
Coach Marcus is hosting a series of FREE CLINICS at the SOUTH KINGSTOWN REC CENTER for boys’ grades 4th-8th. Clinics are FREE but you must register. Links will be closed when registration has sold out. www.swarm-basketball.com/rhode-island/
