IDPA for Sunday February the 4th has been cancelled.

This is our first True North all steel pistol match that is a mix of USPSA and IDPA style shooting. It is great for beginners! Scoring is simple, it is time plus and targets must fall to count. All targets left standing accrue a 5 second penalty each. There is a mandatory mag change for each stage. There will be PCC and pistol with pistol having open, optics, single stack and double stack divisions. There will be some bonus targets. The round count will be approx. 150, I would bring more. Check in is between 11am and 11:45 with the match starting approximately 12pm. Come out and join us in trying out a new style match. Also, to let everyone know we will have a pistol caliber carbine division.

John Wilson, born in Chapel Hill and raised in Raleigh NC spent ten years in the SEAL Teams from 2007-2017. Most of his career was spent as a Lead Sniper for SEAL Team2 during Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa deployments. He then spent 2 years as a Close Quarter Combat and Fi****ms Tactics instructor at Training Detachment2 at Little Creek Naval Base VA.....
