Honey Tree did not begin as a marketing concept.

It began as a family farm in Oxford, Ohio.

Since 1964, the standard has been land, animals, stewardship, and work. The name has evolved, but the underlying philosophy has not: horses are developed over time, riders are educated over time, and a farm is cared for over time.

Heritage only matters when it still shapes the standard today.

Memorial Day | We remember with gratitude.

Today, Honey Tree pauses to honor all who served, all who sacrificed, and especially those who gave all in defense of our country.

We also remember Harry W. Oelerich — Sarah’s father, a WWII veteran, and the founder of Honey Tree Farms in 1964. His legacy lives not only in the land, the name, and the farm he built, but in the standards carried forward at Honey Tree today.

Memorial Day is a reminder that freedom is never abstract. It is carried by real people, real families, and real sacrifice.

With gratitude, respect, and remembrance.

Come learn more about the sport of fox hunting with a Camargo Hunt field hunter clinic!

Our first clinic focuses on riding safely in the open and over fences as part of a group. You’ll learn about etiquette, and experience a traditional stirrup cup and bring-to-share lunch. If you’re a fox hunter this is a great opportunity to brush up on your jumping! Casual and welcoming environment; all ages welcome.

We’ve auditioned quite a few new barn cats recently, and Gertrude has eagerly embraced her new responsibilities. 🐈‍⬛

She’s rarely seen without a mouse in her mouth, or in her pursuit. 🐁

In an effort to encourage her to continue with her efforts, we’ve awarded her the coveted Honey Tree Stables Employee of the Month award! 🏆

Bob - who has been serving faithfully for years, is grateful for the help, and her support. 😊

On July 15th, two of our special Honey Tree Stables horses are celebrating birthdays! 🎂

Happy Birthday to Jazz, who turns 23 today, and is still going strong with her new riding partner Kyndall Jones. 🙌🏼

And Happy Birthday to Harry O, who turns 11 today. We remember him back when he was black and white all over, instead of gray. It happens to all of us Harry! 😉
