Miami University Boxing Club

Miami University Boxing Club Our club focuses on teaching and furthering fundamental boxing skills. There are 3 levels of the club: recreational, sparing, and competitive.

Our club is geared toward teaching college students the fundamentals of boxing and, if desired, participate in competitions in the National Collegiate Boxing Association. We encourage our members to be disciplined both in and outside the gym, putting schoolwork first, and stressing physical health. It is our desire for members to compete and be successful, and to enjoy being a part of a great stud

ent organization. We do not support or condone fighting as a means to resolve conflict outside of friendly competition in a safe, supervised environment. Club members do not need prior experience and can participate on three levels:

Recreational - Learn the fundamentals without any physical contact; Get in great Shape. Sparring - Box against your teammates in a controlled practice environment; requires registration with USA Boxing. Competition - Compete against other college boxers in the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA) and earn entry to regional and national tournaments; requires registration with USA Boxing.
