Emily has been dancing since the age of 3 and began competing at just 4 years old with Bohaty’s School of Dance, where she trained through age 18.
Her love of dance eventually took her around the world as a professional dancer, performing with Royal Caribbean Productions and Barry Manilow’s Stiletto Entertainment. She also brings 18 years of teaching experience to IMPACT and is Cecchetti Ballet trained through Grade 6.
Growing up, Emily’s favorite styles were tap and gymnastics, and some of her favorite memories were performing in productions at the Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts. Being able to return to the stage professionally while living back home in Michigan is a part of her journey she’ll always treasure. ⭐️
Now, Emily is bringing all of that experience back home to IMPACT for her first year on our teaching staff, where she’ll be sharing her passion across acro, jazz, ballet, technique, contemporary and tap.
What makes this season even more special? Emily grew up dancing alongside many of the teachers who are now part of the IMPACT family — and now she gets to be part of that same team, sharing her love of dance with the next generation. 🖤

And perhaps the sweetest part of all: Emily’s two daughters are IMPACT dancers, too. Getting to teach them, watch them grow and have them see their mom in a teacher role is something she’s especially excited for. 🥹
