The Midwest Modifieds Tour Powered by Wheeler Trucking is Proud to Announce the all new Mays Transfer & Contracting Rookie of the Year Program for the 2025 Racing Season. This program is for Eligible Rookie Title Contenders in their chase for the top Freshman honors for the season and here's how it works 👇
Beginning with the 2025 Season Opener, on Saturday, May 17th at Berlin Raceway (MI), the Top 3⃣ in the season long points chase, Rookies Only, will receive a Bonus for their efforts
At the conclusion of the event in Marne, MI, the highest finishing Rookie will receive a $100 bonus as well as the Rookie of the Race Honors. The second and third highest finishing Freshmen will receive bonuses of $75.00 and $50.00 respectively
Those bonuses increase with each event thereafter, while the Rookie of the Race for the remaining 4⃣ Events will be the highest finisher amongst those Rookies Contenders. However, the Top 3⃣ in the Freshman Standings will be the ones who receive the Rookie Bonus
Race 2⃣: Saturday, June 7th - Toledo Speedway (OH)
1st-$150, 2nd-$125, 3rd-$100
Race 3⃣: Saturday, July 26th - Owosso Speedway (MI)
1st-$200, 2nd-$175, 3rd-$150
Race 4⃣: Saturday, August 23rd - Whittemore Speedway (MI)
1st-$250, 2nd-$225, 3rd-$200
Race 5⃣: Saturday, October 11th - Wi******er Speedway (IN)
1st-$300, 2nd-$275, 3rd-$250
At the conclusion of the 20th Annual Run For The Gun 50 in Wi******er, IN, the highest Rookie Driver in the Final Points Standings will be Crowned the 2025 Rookie of the Year
Due to the 2025 Schedule, which consists of 5⃣ Major, High-Profile Events, a couple of minor tweaks to the freshman criteria have been established. Below is said criteria 👇
1. No more than 4⃣ Total Starts Lifetime and/or more than 2⃣ Starts in one season in the or Equivalent Series/Tour
2. No Wins in ANY previous season with the or Equivalent Series/Tour
3. No Experience (A single Start counts as "Experience") in what is considered a higher-level National/Regional Series/Tour - Examples: ARCA Menards Series, Reveal The Hammer Outlaw Super Late Model Series, any Template Super Late Model Series, NASCAR Whelen Modifieds Tour, any Template Pro Late Model Series, etc.
4. All of the above is Subject to a Final Determination by Senior Management
Based on said criteria, the Following Drivers, who made at least 1⃣ Appearance in 2024, Remain Eligible to compete for the 2025 Rookie of the Year Title 👇
