Mellomar Golf Park officially has disc golf. There are 18 holes of disc golf spread across a 9 hole regulation golf course and par 3 golf course. This is the first disc golf course in Calvert County that is publicly accessible. The baskets are installed but the course is still a work in progress. There will be turf tee pads installed in the near future, as well as better signage. The current rate to play is $5 per round, with the option to rent a cart. There will be some sort of yearly membership or frequent disc golfer card, but that is still being ironed out. Please bare with the us while the finishing touches are put on the course.
*This course coexists with the current golf course so be courteous and respectful of golfers and fellow disc golfers. Majority of the time the golfers will hit their ball and be on their way, so just let them play through.
*The course was designed to avoid the golf greens, but if you throw onto the greens, DO NOT throw from the green. It is OB and the lie should be moved off of the green..
